CT 17 Middletown Avenue, New Haven Road, Main Street, South Main Street, Hartford Avenue, Gospel Lane, Glastonbury Turnpike, Glastonbury Expressway

Middletown Avenue begins at the junction of I-91 and Foxon Boulevard (CT 80) in New Haven and runs north. There is an entrance to I-91 northbound at the first traffic light.

Here, there is a very short expressway section of CT 17 with no name that runs for a few blocks. There is an exit for Main Street Extension.

The expressway ends at CT 9. Bear right to go south or bear left to go north. CT 17 is multiplexed with CT 9 for a couple of exits here.
