CR 1 Clinton Road, Glen Cove Road

Glen Cove Road becomes CR 1 at the North Hempstead-Oyster Bay town line. It runs south through Greenvale.

Glen Cove Road passes under the northern terminus of the Meadowbrook Parkway. There are entrances to the Meadowbrook Parkway and the Northern Parkway.

There is a railroad crossing after Stewart Avenue. There are no gate arms or flashing lights because these tracks are hardly ever used. Commercial Avenue is to the left at the first traffic light after the tracks.
