CR 7A Washington Avenue, Roslyn Road, Main Street, Old Northern Boulevard

After crossing Old Country Road (CR 25), Washington Avenue becomes Roslyn Road. There is a railroad crossing here. Work is currently being done to build a bridge over the tracks and eliminate this crossing.

There is an interchange with Northern Parkway. Roslyn Road then intersects the service roads of the Long Island Expressway (I-495). There are signs for the expressway right at the entrances to the parkway.

North of the expressway, Roslyn Road narrows down to two lanes.

Upon entering Roslyn village, Roslyn Road changes names to become Main Street. Main Street intersects East Broadway at a traffic light.

Main Street runs north along the western boundary of Gerry Park, formerly known as Roslyn Pond Park.

Main Street ends here at Old Northern Boulevard. Turn left onto Old Northern Boulevard to stay on CR 7A.

CR 7A ends here at this traffic light. Turn left to stay on Old Northern Boulevard, which runs west from here to Northern Boulevard (NY 25A) as an unnumbered county road. West Shore Road (CR 15) is straight ahead.
