Brooklyn-Queens Expressway East

The Brooklyn-Queens Expressway East is a spur off of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (I-278). It is a short highway that carries traffic from exit 42 of eastbound I-278 to the eastbound Grand Central Parkway and from the exit 4 of the westbound Grand Central Parkway to westbound I-278. Less than a mile long, the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway East has no route number and is not mentioned on the signs for either exit 4 of the Grand Central Parkway or exit 42 of I-278. It has one exit in each direction.
