Welcome to Nassau County! The Grand Central Parkway becomes the Northern Parkway at the county line. The first sign is in really bad shape, but exit 25 is for Lakeville Road (CR 11) and Marcus Avenue.

The parkway curves to the south. A lane merges in on the left from exit 38 of the eastbound Long Island Expressway (I-495). There are signs indicating that the exits for the Meadowbrook Parkway and the Wantagh Parkway are ahead.

The parkway ends just east of exit 46. At the eastern terminus, it merges into Veterans Memorial Highway (NY 454/NY 347).
