Hicksville Road begins at Merrick Road (CR 27) in Massapequa and runs north as a two-lane undivided road.

There is an entrance to the northbound Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway (NY 135). Contrary to what the signs say, NY 135 ends in Syosset and does not go to Oyster Bay.

NY 107 is a four-lane road from Hempstead Turnpike (NY 24) to Old Country Road (CR 25). Some parts are divided and some parts are undivided. South Oyster Bay Road (CR 9) splits off to the right in this section and runs directly north, while NY 107 runs to the northwest.

North of Old Country Road, NY 107 runs through Hicksville and then merges with Newbridge Road (NY 106). In Hicksville, NY 107 is called South Broadway.

The combined NY 106/NY 107 section is called North Broadway. There are interchanges with the Northern Parkway and the Long Island Expressway (I-495).

Slightly north of the Long Island Expressway, there is a cloverleaf interchange with Jericho Turnpike (NY 25) and then NY 106 and NY 107 immediately split.

After the split, NY 107 is called Cedar Swamp Road. It remains a four-lane divided road until SUNY Old Westbury, where it narrows down to two lanes and the divider ends.
