NY 25 begins at the Queensboro Bridge in Queens as Queens Boulevard. Queens Boulevard runs to the southeast through Queens. NY 25 leaves Queens Boulevard and Hillside Avenue and runs to the east along Hillside Avenue. NY 25 leaves Hillside Avenue at Braddock Avenue and is routed along Braddock Avenue. (Hillside Avenue east of this point is designated NY 25B.) Braddock Avenue runs to the southeast until the Queens-Nassau border, where it ends at Jericho Turnpike. Jericho Turnpike runs to east through Nassau and western Suffolk. In Smithtown, NY 25 and NY 25A are multiplexed as Main Street. When they split, NY 25 is called Middle Country Road. It keeps this name until Riverhead. After Riverhead, NY 25 is called Main Road and it runs along the North Fork as a small two-lane road. It ends at the ferry terminal at Orient Point, the easternmost point on the North Fork.
