The two-lane undivided section is called East Williston Avenue. It is locally maintained by the Nassau County Department of Public Works (NCDPW) and designated NY 25B/CR 85. East Williston Avenue intersects Roslyn Road (CR 7A) at this traffic light.

The locally maintained CR 85 section ends and the name changes back to Hillside Avenue. Hillside Avenue crosses the Northern Parkway, but there is no entrance or exit. On the other side of the parkway, it widens to become a four-lane divided road again. It intersects Glen Cove Road (CR 1) at a traffic light and then merges into Jericho Turnpike (NY 25) and ends.
