Western Terminus: Bowery and Canal Street in Manhattan
Eastern Terminus:
Flatbush Avenue and Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (I-278) in Brooklyn
The Manhattan Bridge is a suspension bridge over the East River, connecting
Brooklyn and Manhattan. It is open to both cars and trucks, and it also has
tracks for subway trains. On the Manhattan side, the bridge connects to the
Bowery and Canal Street. On the Brooklyn side, it connects to Flatbush Avenue.
There is also a partial interchange with the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (I-278).
