212 Street, Hollis Court Boulevard, Hempstead Avenue, Hempstead Turnpike, Fulton Avenue, Conklin Street
Eastbound Views
At its southern terminus at Hillside Avenue (NY 25), the southbound lanes of the Clearview Expressway (I-295) turn into Hollis Court Boulevard, a two-lane divided road. Although Hollis Court Boulevard is two-way, motorists travelling in the other direction are forced to make a U-turn when they reach the end, so it only carries the eastbound direction of NY 24. This section of NY 24 is unsigned. There are oversized street name signs at 90 Avenue and 91 Avenue.

Hempstead Avenue begins at Jamaica Avenue. It passes under the Main Line of the Long Island Rail Road and runs southeast as a four-lane undivided road. NYCDOT could not be bothered to install oversized street name signs on here, despite the fact that it is both a signed state touring route and a through truck route.
