This flasher was found at the intersection with County Line Road (Suffolk CR 1). It has been replaced with a full traffic light.

This yellow pedestrian crossing sign has been replaced with one in the yellow-green color that has become standard for such signs.

There used to be a NY 27A reassurance shield just past NY 231, but it has been removed. Why did they do that? It was a perfectly good sign.
