CR 34 is the designation given to the section of Deer Park Avenue in North
Babylon that was bypassed by the Babylon-Northport Expressway (NY 231). Deer
Park Avenue begins at Montauk Highway (NY 27A) in Babylon and runs north as a
local street. At the Babylon village line where it intersects Village Line Road,
Deer Park Avenue becomes CR 34. It runs through North Babylon to the northern
end of the Babylon-Northport Expressway. There, CR 34 ends and Deer Park Avenue
becomes NY 231.
